A bench seats more people per metre than chairs do, because nobody is allocated a fixed width. At 260cm that means squeezing in an extra person at a crowded meal is simply a matter of everyone shuffling along, which no set of dining chairs allows.
That flexibility is the strongest argument for benches over chairs in a household that entertains unpredictably. When not needed at the table, 260cm of bench is a serious length for a hallway, providing a long surface for bags and a place to put shoes on. The reclaimed twin teak beams give it enough visual weight to hold a wall on its own rather than looking like a stray piece of dining furniture parked there.

White glove delivery
Our two-person team carries your piece into the room of your choice, unpacks it, assembles it where needed and takes the packaging away.
Delivery price: one price per order, set by the largest service in it. Furniture and rugs come white glove, metro from $199, regional from $349. Mirrors, art and large decor or lighting come by room delivery, from $149: two people place them in your room, without hanging or installation. Lighting ships by courier from $49. Smaller decor ships by courier from $25, usually free on decor orders over $350. Some remote areas are quoted after you order.
In-stock pieces usually arrive in 2 to 4 weeks. Out-of-stock and made-to-order pieces can take up to 12 to 16 weeks. We'll confirm your timing and call to book your delivery.
Restricted access: stairs, tight corners, a long carry from the truck or no parking nearby add $79. Lifts are fine.
